How a backlit SEG lightbox works
An SEG lightbox is an aluminum or steel extrusion frame with internal LED strips on the perimeter, faced with a dye-sublimated graphic that has a silicone bead sewn into its edge. The bead snaps into a channel around the frame, pulling the fabric drum-tight against the LED panel behind it. The result is a uniformly glowing graphic with no visible seams, screws, or hardware. The LEDs are typically 5,000K daylight, dimmable on premium units, and rated for tens of thousands of hours.
