Booth types that work for finance exhibits.

Deep dive

How finance & professional services exhibits actually work.

Visual language of finance booths

Banks, asset managers, accounting firms, and professional-services partnerships exhibit very differently from consumer brands. The palette is muted — deep navy, charcoal, hunter green, oxblood — the typography is serif or transitional sans, and the imagery (if any) emphasizes architecture, infrastructure, or abstracted financial concepts rather than people in stock photography. Our finance-tier design team is briefed on this visual language; we build booths that read as institutional rather than salesfloor.

Recommended displays for finance events

A 10×20 peninsula or 20×20 island in custom-finished tension fabric with real wood-veneer accent panels is standard for tier-1 finance booths. The structural element that distinguishes finance booths from other industries is the meeting nook — a semi-private area with two armchairs and a small table, screened from the show floor by a half-height wall or fabric divider. This is where executive 1:1s happen and where deals get advanced. Budget 20–25% of the booth floor area to the meeting nook.

Privacy, security, and discretion

Finance exhibitors handle confidential information at the booth — proposal documents, client materials, sensitive briefings. Specify lockable storage in every booth (we include this on all 10×20 and larger finance booths by default). For booths at events where competitive intelligence is a real concern, consider angling the meeting nook seating so that screens and documents are not visible from the show floor.

Take-away materials and the printed booth piece

Finance attendees still expect a substantial printed take-away — a capability brochure, a quarterly outlook, or a thought-leadership white paper. Allocate counter space for a small stack of these and design the cover to match the booth's visual identity. We coordinate booth-graphic design with printed-collateral design to maintain consistent visual language between the booth and the materials attendees carry away.
